Into The Neighborhood

According to John, The Word (Jesus) became flesh and blood and "moved into the neighborhood".  We all live in some version of a neighborhood, but how many of us really live "into" our neighborhoods?  How many of our churches actually live "into" our neighborhoods.  Grace free's us and then we tend to move "into" the church.  What happens when Jesus followers are willing to follow Him out of the doors and into their neighborhoods?  Where and how do we discover that He was there long before we were and doing amazing things, often within plain sight of those who take the time to see, and always with a desire for us to join Him.  This session will explore how to set about on a journey to discover the sacred in the streets and stories of the places we live and the spaces our churches inhabit.  It's really not difficult if only we have the eyes to see.
