I'd love to talk with you about PTSD, grief, or divorce...learning and growing IN and through it, and helping others who also pass through these deep valleys. I have a Master’s Degree in counseling from Portland State University and a teaching degree from Biola University, but most of what I share (written and spoken) has come from what the Lord has taught me over the years in my own journey. The books that have been touching many lives are "Goodbye for Now" (grief support), and "Formerly a Wife" (divorce support) , and "LOVE OUR VETS: Restoring Hope for Families of Veterans with PTSD." I've also had the joy of contributing to Chicken Soup for the Soul: Divorce and Recovery, Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Spirit of America, as well as Shepherding Women in Pain.
I am blessed to have a wonderful husband who is a veteran battling PTSD. Although actively involved in teaching and leadership for over 30 years, most of my passion and time is spent daily facilitating the national support network we call Love Our Vets – PTSD Family Support, LLC , initiated in 2012. www.LoveOurVets.org
